Salesforce Consultant in Sydney

I'm Shubham Shrivastava, a Salesforce Architect based in Sydney with 15 years on the platform. I work with Sydney businesses on architecture reviews, AppExchange packaging, data migration, and AI-powered Salesforce delivery — senior-led, no call cycles, async-first.

Why Sydney businesses work with me

  • Sydney-based — same time zone, no offshore coordination overhead, can meet in person when an engagement warrants it.
  • 15 years on the Salesforce platform — state government, ASX-listed financial services, and three Salesforce ISV partners. NSW-grounded experience across public sector, regulated finance, and AppExchange product delivery.
  • One senior architect, accountable end to end — clear scope, no agency layers, no juniors learning on your org.
  • AI-native delivery using Claude Code, Cursor, and local models — faster turnaround than traditional consulting at the same quality.
  • Familiar with NSW government procurement, APRA-regulated environments, and the AU Salesforce partner ecosystem.

Local context

The Sydney Salesforce market is dominated by the big four consultancies and a handful of mid-size partners. That works for enterprise transformations, but it's overkill for an SMB that needs a permission-set migration done well, an AppExchange app shipped, or a data migration that doesn't drop records on cutover. I work in the gap — senior expertise, fixed scope, no slide decks. I've worked inside a major NSW government agency for several years and consulted with three Sydney-based Salesforce ISV partners, so I know the local platform talent market and the realistic timelines for what NSW orgs actually need.

How remote consulting works

Most engagements run async — I work from your sandbox or org with read-only or scoped admin access, deliver via PR, and document everything as I go. For complex engagements I'll do a kickoff call and a checkpoint call, but I don't run a weekly stand-up unless you want one. If you're in the Sydney CBD or inner-west and an in-person session would help, that can be arranged.

How I can help

Most Sydney engagements start with an architecture review — a senior read of your org: what's solid, what's fragile, and what to do first. From there the work is whatever the review turns up — security, integrations, migrations, AppExchange packaging, automation.

Before reaching out, you might want to read a few things I've written. The field notes cover architecture patterns, security, CI/CD, and how I use AI in Salesforce delivery — they'll tell you whether my way of thinking matches what you're looking for.
